The McLaren 570S is a British sports car designed and manufactured by McLaren Automotive. It was unveiled at the 2015 New York International Auto Show. The 570S is powered by a 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 562 bhp and 600 N·m of torque, and features a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The power-to-weight ratio is 426 bhp/tonne. The vehicle can accelerate from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 328 km/h (204 mph).
The design of the 570S is based on that of the 650S but with a focus on daily driving and usability, rather than track performance. As such, it features a more upright windshield, reduced aerodynamic downforce, increased headroom and legroom, and improved visibility. The vehicle also has a rear cargo area with a volume of 220 litres (7.8 cu ft), expandable to 500 litres (18 cu ft) with the rear seats folded.
The 570S is offered in three different specifications: Standard, Performance and Luxury. Standard equipment includes forged alloy wheels, carbon-ceramic brakes, an adjustable suspension system, LED head- and tail-lights, keyless entry and start, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a touchscreen infotainment system with navigation and Bluetooth connectivity, and an 11-speaker audio system. The Performance specification adds sportier wheels and tyres, a sport exhaust system, and more aggressive suspension and brakes settings. The Luxury specification features additional features such as electric heating for the front seats, an upgraded suspension system, and a 12-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system.
